[.] 02. 20100106 16.30>19.30 :: concept research, first pin-up
Students start working on the fast production of concepts for a pavilion or an installation to be placed in a site inside the AIU (choice of site is up to each group); pin-up at the end of the day.
Today's lecture (by Prof. Alessio Erioli) is "Bodies, space, ornaments", in which the interaction of bodies in space is unfold, as well as bodies' and architectures' systemic structure as nested parts and wholes, implying the concept of scale, as well as ornament as a way to solve issues of articulation and differentiation. The last part focuses on elegance, presented as a search for fineness driven by craft.
